Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council is concerned with the annual evaluation of the pastoral life of the parish, done in July/August. The Parish Council assumes responsibility for planning the pastoral year. All matters pertaining to the renewal of the parish and outreach to the wider community are the competence of this Council.

The Parish Council also assumes responsibility for the maintenance of the Parish Directory and the Parish Calendar (Year Planner).

The Parish Council meets four times in the year, as advertised in the year planner.
In the autumn there are two full day sessions to evaluate and plan.

The Parish Council is regulated by its own constitution (available on request). The four pastoral areas have two representatives. Each parish team listed in the constitution must have a representitive. The Parish Council is presided over by the parish priest, who must attend, and is chaired and run by elected parishioners.

You can contact the parish council through the Parish Priest.
Meetings are advertised in the weekly bulletin.
